Margaret Rogers, 70, of Sullivan passed away at her home on January 25, 2021. She was born in Sullivan county on October 7, 1950 to Henry Debbs Ashcraft and Virginia (Frakes) Ashcraft. She was a 1968 graduate of Sullivan High School, attended the First Baptist Church of Sullivan and was employed at Wall-mart for several years. Margaret loved the outdoors, her music and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Ted Ashcraft.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years James Rogers, whom she married on February 9, 1967; children Kenny (Rae) Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Christy Rogers, Angie Rogers, brothers, Tom (Kathy) Ashcraft, Jim (Darlene) Ashcraft, a sister Pat O’Banion, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate her life will be 7:00 p.m. on Thursday February 4, 2021, at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tommy Pearison officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services.
