Marilyn Jo (Bennett) Osburn

Marilyn Jo Osburn, 84, of Fairbanks passed away peacefully in her home on January 26, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born on March 9, 1938, in Sullivan to Arthur Blaine and Lola Levene Bennett, a 1956 graduate of Hymera High School.  Marilyn went on to graduate from Vincennes University and attended ISU.

Remembered most for her sweet disposition and beautiful smile, Marilyn enjoyed the family farm, country sunsets, evening walks, laughing with loved ones, and dancing around the house.

She is preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings: Estel (Molly), Levett (Roy), Russell (Doyne), Ernest, Arthur Jr., Wanda, and Nila Bennett.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, William Noah Osburn, Fairbanks, and three children: Becky (husband Todd) Outcalt, Brownsburg IN; David Osburn, Denver, CO; Jennifer Osburn, Avon, IN; and 8 grandchildren: Chelsey (husband Michael) Janney, Logan Outcalt, Ian, Cameron, and Sophia Osburn, and Justin, Jessica, and Brandon Miller.

Visitation will be held at the Holmes Funeral Home, Sullivan, on Saturday February 4, 2023, from  11am with service at 1pm, Pastor Erich Blevins will be officiating.
