Mark Wolfe

Mark Wolfe, 56, of Carlisle passed away on Tuesday August 20, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Vincennes on February 3, 1957, to Bill and Betty Stultz Wolfe. Mark was a 1975 graduate of North Knox High School, retired from Peabody Coal, a member of Followers of Christ Church, NRA, NHRA, traveling when he could and participating in drag car racing as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his mother and a uncle, Jim Stultz. Survivors include his father, step mother Helen Mason Wolfe, his wife Tammie Manchette Wolfe, of 27 years, who he married on November 16, 1985, a son Ben (Alannah) Wolfe of Sullivan, a daughter Ashley of Carlisle, two brothers Mike ( Vickie) Wolfe of Carlisle, Steve (Kathy) Wolfe of Oaktown, a sister Deanna Skaggs of Martinsville, a grandchild, who was the love of his life, Kyler Wolfe, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Glen Archer officiating. Visitation will be on Friday 4-8 p.m. Burial will take place at Shepard Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
