Marsha Kay Ferris

Marsha Kay Ferris, 73, of Sullivan, formerly of Galesburg, IL, passed away on September 20, 2022, at Sullivan County Community Hospital. She was born in Galesburg, IL on January 11, 1949, to Robert Ferris and Marcele (Holloway) Ferris. Marsha was a trust officer at Wells Fargo Bank in Galesburg for over 30 years before her retirement in 2009. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Galesburg and a member of the Altrusa Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Carol Ferris and sister Debra (Ferris) Banta.
Survivors include brother, James Ferris of Brownsboro, AL, sister Jeri Lynn Alsman of Sullivan, IN, brother Daniel (Lynn) Ferris of Lawrenceville, GA, as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 Eastern Time at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan, IN. Brother-in-Law, Dr. Irvin Banta will be officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Haynes Cemetery in DeLong, IL.
