Martha Cleo (Scott) McKibben

Martha Cleo Scott McKibben, age 96, went home to be with Jesus on November 22, 2022. Martha was born to Ernest and Minnie C. Altvater Scott on January 6, 1926. She married the love of her life, Harry Kenneth McKibben on December 14, 1945.

Martha was a faithful member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, having been baptized on June 7, 1926 and confirmed on May 12, 1940. She was devoted to her family and her love of the Philadelphia Phillies Baseball. She worked at Quaker Maid for over 25 years and retired from the Vigo County School Corporation cafeteria at Sarah Scott Middle School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Minnie Scott, as well as her husband Harry McKibben. She is survived by her daughter Judith E. (Richard L.) Monday; grandsons Richard A. (Romona) Monday, Brenton L. (Sara) Monday, and Scott D. Monday; and great-grandchildren Brenton F. Monday, Elizabeth A. Monday, and Aaron R. Monday.

Services for Martha will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 645 Poplar St., Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday November 29, 2022 at 1 pm. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of services. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery, Terre Haute, IN. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
