Mary Ann (Phillips) Arnett

Mary Ann Phillips Arnett, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side. Mary Ann was born in Sullivan, to William G. and Mary Dean (Springer) Phillips on August 29, 1940. Mary Ann was a member of the Sullivan High School class of 1958. On June 24, 1960, she was married to the love of her life William Arnett. They enjoyed 63 years together raising their children and racing horses. She was a member of the AQHA and National Cutting Horse Association. Mary Ann was an excellent cook. Many memories were made with her family around the table enjoying her cooking and conversation. She attended New Lebanon Methodist Church. Mary Ann will be dearly remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents, and a daughter Laura Arnett Alpi. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, William Arnett; son, Wallace and Jennifer Arnett; grandchildren, Kaitlin Milam, William Austin Arnett and Alizabeth Arnett. One great-great grandchild, Miraquin Milam.

Services will be Monday, October 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt Zion Cemetery with David Cox officiating.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to one of the following,  American Cancer Society or New Lebanon Methodist Church. Envelopes will be made available at the service. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
