Mary Jeanette Gadberry, 85, of Princeton, formally of Sullivan. Entered peacefully into Heavens splendor, on April 6, 2024. Mary began her life journey in Sullivan County on September 1,1938. The daughter of the late Orville and Bess (Wolfe) Garrard. On August 24, 1957 she married the love of her life, Thomas “Tom” Gadberry, whom precedes her. She was a graduate of Dugger High School.
Mary was a beloved, caring and devoted mother and grandmother, who treasured time spent with her family, first and foremost. She was a dedicated member of the Sullivan First Christian Church. Outside the home she was a legal secretary for the late Attorney Paul Whitlock.
Her parents and husband preceded her, along with an infant son, Matthew Gadberry.
Those with lifetime of unforgettable memories to cherish are her sons, Leslie Bryan Gadberry and Benjamin Ray Gadberry (Natasha); grandchildren, Izaac, Arielle, Amelia, Samuel and Daniel.
Visitation will be at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Thursday April 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. until service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
