Philip G Lammers

Philip G. Lammers, 70, of Sullivan passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Terre Haute on March 18, 1951 to William F Lammers and Lillian (Evans) Lammers.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Phil was a 1969 graduate of Sullivan High School, and was a lineman for 41 years working for Public Service Indiana, later to be Duke Energy.    Phil was a member of the Sullivan VFW and an avid Notre Dame football fan.  He enjoyed spending time at home on his farm, being with his children and spoiling his grandchildren.    He was dearly loved by his friends and family for his fun loving spirit and generous heart.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl Lammers, a brother Michael (Judy) Lammers, three daughters, Christa Lammers, Carrie Lammers, Katie (Ethan) Taylor, one son, Tommy (Jodi) Lammers.   Step-children Cory Alexander and Christina (Larry) Stevens.    Grandchildren, Dakota Davis,  Abby, Emma and Ella Shackelford, Easton Taylor, Avery and Rylee Lammers.    Step Grandchildren, Courtlyn and Caiden Griggs, Dayten, Dalton and Darin Alexander.

Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 11, 2021 at Holmes Memorial with pastor David Cox officiating.   Visitation will be on Sunday October 10, 2021 from 2-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.   

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to Christmas for Kids.   A non-profit providing Christmas gifts for kids of the local area.
