Raymond Jefferson Dickson Jr., 67, of Wilfred, passed away on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Greensburg IN., on December 24, 1953 to Raymond Jefferson Dickson Sr. and Nora (Boyd) Dickson. Ray was a 1971 graduate of South Decater High School, a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired truck driver. Ray was a member of the Briley Chapel and Howesville Church of God Prophecy, a Ham Radio operator KRD9CU, a member of Sullivan County Aux-Communication, Salvation Army of Sullivan County and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Tom Dickson, and a step son Daren Zellers.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Followell) Zellers - Dickson, step sons Ricky Webster, Aaron Zellers, daughter Andrea Nicole Ditto, step daughter Ronita Webster, Karen Drake, a sister Ruth Giddings, brothers Dale Dickson, Paul Dickson, several grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m on Friday April 30, 2021 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Darren Sluder and Tracy Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help with final expenses. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
