Rebecca "Becky" (Adams) Badger

Rebecca “Becky” Badger, 95, of Sullivan slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus, on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Waters of Sullivan.

Becky was born in Sullivan IN, to Lee and Mary (Lewelyn) Adams, on September 10, 1927. She was a 1945 graduate of Dugger High School. She married the love of her life Herbert (Herb) Badger on May 31, 1947.  She was part of the Mary Sherman Hospital family in the house keeping department, where you would always find her carrying out her duties with a smile and kind word to all. She was a  faithful member of Evangelical Methodist Church of Sullivan, enjoyed cooking, watching television, especially basketball. Most importantly was the time she spent with family. She adored her grandchildren and doted on them every chance she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, along with her husband Herb and granddaughter, Rachel Badger in 2010.

Family left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steve Badger (Kandi) and Bill Badger (Mitzie); sister, Mary Alice Foutz; grandchildren, Jon Badger (Kristen) and Emily Badger (Sean); great grandchildren, Addison, Kendyll and Jace.

Services will be Monday, August 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm. with visitation from 11:00 am. until time of service at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Mark Bailey officiating . She will be laid to rest at Center Ridge Cemetery.
