Rhuanne Campbell, 82, of Hymera, passed away on January 25 2021, while in the loving care of Mulberry Health in Mulberry, Indiana. She was born in Shelburn, Indiana on February 19, 1938. Rhuanne was a 1956 graduate of Shelburn High School, and a 1974 graduate of ISU. Rhuanne was a teacher at Hymera Elementary for 25 years until her retirement in 1999. She was also a member of Shiloh Assembly of God, the Silver Dollar Spinners Square Dance Club, the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club Chapter Y, and the Red Hat Club.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Virginia Colvin, and her husband of 64 years, James Lee Campbell whom she married on July 29, 1956.
Survivors include her son Steven (Brenda) Campbell of Jasonville, her daughter Teresa (Tab) Boaz of West Lafayette, brothers Johnny Colvin and Carl Colvin of Marion, sister Mary Jane Wischmeyer of Ohio, grandchildren Brittany Dahlstrom, Avery Boaz, Derek Campbell, Austin Boaz, Ashley Martin, and Kristen Morse and 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January, 30, 2021, at the Grave site, K of P Cemetery, with Pastor Dick Smith Officiating. The family requests that Memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and that masks are required.
