Robert "Rob" Crooks

Robert B. Crooks passed away April 17, 2023 at his home in Terre Haute, IN. He was born June 26, 1964 to Richard B. and Verna Crooks in Sullivan IN. He graduated from Sullivan High school in 1982. He attended Vincennes University and Indiana State University. He lived for several years in Sturgis Michigan, then returned home to Sullivan and Terre Haute. He worked in the printing and manufacturing business. He was a member of  Sullivan First Christian Church. Rob was an avid sports enthusiast, he never missed an IU basketball game or Cardinals baseball. He was always dressed in his team apparel to show his support.  

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved sister Karen Crooks Alumbaugh. He is survived by his children, Cameron B. Crooks and Hannah Crooks of Indianapolis IN, along with their Mother, Lisa Crooks. His parents and siblings, Charles (Susie) Crooks, Timothy (Kim) Crooks; nephews, Gavin Crooks, Ben Crooks, Matt (Nikki) Crooks, Joe ( Alexa) Alumbaugh and Tyler Crooks along with a niece Casey (Brett) Lewis.  All of whom will miss him immeasurably . 

A public graveside service will be held at Center Ridge cemetery on Monday April 24. 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Cox officiating . The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Sullivan First Christian Church. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
