Roger Stuck Obituary

 

Roger Stuck, 87, of Sullivan formerly of Shelburn, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, March 11,2023, at home with his loved ones by his side. Roger was born at home October 20, 1935 in Paxton, IN. to Squire and Lucy Pugh Stuck. He graduated from Shelburn High school class of 1954, and was a proud Army Veteran. He married Barbara Misner on December 16, 1967. He was a member of the Sullivan Art Guild, and the Stewart Norris American Legion, Shelburn IN. Roger was well known in the area for his artistic work, he loved to paint and create from old things. He was a long time plant manager for Hagen manufacturing, in Shelburn. He later went on to retire from Owens Brockway after 20 years of service. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife Barbara; brothers, Dennis, Bill and Tom Stuck and sister Lois Metcalf ; grandson, Andy Miller along with granddaughter  Mezzy Wilson.

Family left to cherish his memory are, daughter, Mauricea Stuck (Bo); son Russell “Rowdy”(Mandy) Stuck and bonus daughter, Tamsie Miller; Grandchildren Robert (Nikki) Wright,  Katrina (Eric) Hill, Justin Pearison, Cole (Allison) Mason, Adrienne Compton, Russy and Barbie Stuck; great- grandchildren, Audury, Riot, Jagger, Carter, Hayln, Lillie and Thatcher. 

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday March 16, 2023, at Little Flock cemetery, where Roger will be laid to rest with his wife. Pastor John Turner  will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Homes Memorial Chapel.
