Sally L. Roelle, 73, of Jasper, formerly of Sullivan, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Jasper IN onJuly 13, 2022, with her children by her side. Sally was born in Sullivan County on November 17, 1948 to Nelson Phegley and Betty Arnett Phegley. Sally was a 1966 graduate of Carlisle High School and became a loving mother, grandmother and a great grandma. While raising her family she returned to school furthering her education to become an accountant and bookkeeper; and working at Memorial Hospital in Jasper IN. While living in Dubois County Sally had been employed by Aristocraft Cabinets, and was a dedicated volunteer with the Angel Works Program.
She was the beloved mother of Jim Sublett, Tony Sublett, Michelle (Todd) Boyll and John (Summer) Roelle, and her little dog Dozer. One thing she loved more than reading were her Grandchildren, Tyler (Katie) Boyll, Coty Bedwell, Nick (Lexy) Boyll, Austin (Johnnie) Bedwell, Garrett Boyll, Kirstyn Boyll, Antony Roelle, Lillie Roelle, and multipal Great GrandchildrenShe was proceded in death by her parents Nelson and Betty Phegly and one son Tony Sublett.
Services to celebrate her life will be announced by the family at a later date. Sally will be buried next to her son Tony at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper IN.
