Obituary
Sherry Cox Mitchell, 70, of Sullivan passed peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday June 24,2023 at Envive of Sullivan. Sherry was born in Sullivan County to Grover and Eula Frances Rader Cox, on May 20,1949. She was a graduate of Sullivan High School and attended Sullivan First Christian Church and Crossroads. Sherry was a former Parking Enforcement officer for the Sullivan square and owned and operated a Popcorn, Carmel corn stand for years. She enjoyed fishing and flea markets in her spare time.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Greg Mitchell and their son Shadlee Mitchell.
Surviving are her brother, Grover Cox (Rexanna); sisters, Tracey Spurr (Derek) and Rita Stearley (Tom) several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Cremation was chosen, she will be laid to rest with her husband and son at Center Ridge cemetery.
