Steve Robinson Obituary

Steve Robinson, 73, of Fairbanks, formerly of Shelburn, passed away in his residence on Tuesday February 28, 2023, with family by his side. He was born in Sullivan, on February 23, 1950, to Archie Robinson and Margaret Nell (Curtis) Robinson. Steve was a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle and great great uncle and was always willing to help if you needed him. He was a 1968 graduate of North Central High School, and immediately went to work for the CSX Railroad as a dispatcher and remained there until he retired. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and was a member of the River View Club. He also really enjoyed trying his hand at Euchre and Black Jack. Preceding him in death are his parents, his brothers Ronnie Robinson, Jim Robinson, and Terry Robinson, and sisters Sally Stranahan and Peggy Shelton. 

He is survived by his brother Archie Robinson and sister Kandi (Tony) Miller, a sister in-law Cheryl Robinson, a brother in-law Fred Stranahan, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and other extended family members. 

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday March 6, 2023, at Holmes Memorial Chapel with pastor Norman Santus officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
