Susan Kay (Lueking) Ramsey

Susan Kay Lueking Ramsey 55, of Sullivan, entered into eternal life, Friday March 10, 2023. She was born October 31,1967, in Sullivan County, to Allen and Donna (Moudy) Lueking. Susan graduated from Sullivan High School class of 1986, and went on to ISU for a degree in Food Services. She married Keith Ramsey October 30, 1993, whom preceded her into eternal life. Previously she and her family lived and worked in Greens Fork, Indiana. Where Keith managed the MCL Cafeterias and the family supported Cheyenne’s many school activities. Susan worked in the Home Healthcare profession and enjoyed her many clients over the years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, movies with her daughter, family camping trips, and spending time with her daughter and family. Susan will always be remembered for her generous smile and warm greeting to all she met along life’s way.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter Cheyenne  Ramsey, Chicago IL; parents, Allen (Shirley) Lueking, Sullivan. Donna (Owen) Moudy, Covington ; brothers, Christopher (Michelle) Lueking, Terre Haute. Michael (Amy) Lueking, Sullivan. Patrick (Stephanie) Lueking, Middlebury. Timothy (Katherine) Lueking, Crawfordsville. Stepbrother Matthew (Meg) Moudy Winnetka, IL. Brother in-law Chris (Melinda); Sister in-law, Beth Ann (Bob).  Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held, with Dr. Timothy Lueking officiating. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements. 

Memorial contributions can be made to, The Lueking Family Endowment @ Sullivan County Community Foundation, Sullivan County Humane Shelter or the Juvenile Diabetes’ Foundation or theAmerican Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
