Obituary

Texanna Velasquez, 81, of Sullivan, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Millers Merry Manor.  She was born on April 3, 1941, in Graysville to Clifford Vest and Thelma (Pinkston) Jones.  She was a 1959, graduate of Carlisle High School, became a loving mother, grandmother and was a retired secretary. She was a member of Graysville United Methodist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

 

Survivors include her son, Brandon Vest, and his wife Halea, her daughters, Robin Pirtle and her husband Jim, Roberta McPhail and her husband Rich, brothers Preston Jones (Elizabeth), Scott Jones (Sara), Kelly Jones (April), sisters Dixie Shouse, Brenda Atwood (Keith), 9 grandchildren  22 great grandchildren

 

Services for Texanna will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 12, 2022 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Scott Snyder officiating.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be in Union Chapel in Graysville.
