Sullivan has lost one of its most loyal citizens. William Lee Tatom, 75, of Sullivan, passed away at his home with his wife by his side on on Monday March 29, 2021. He was born in Iowa on January 2, 1946 to Paul Tatom and Maxine (Brown) Tatom. Bill Graduated from Sullivan High School in 1964 and went on to earn an associate degree in Drafting from Sam’s Technical institute (now Ivy Tech) in Indianapolis.  He then served four years in the U.S. Air Force before returning to Sullivan. He was retired from Pfizer (Danisco) in Terre Haute, where he was employed as a draftsman. He was an avid car enthusiast, both antique and muscle cars. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and the Good Guys Car Club. Bill especially enjoyed the Frog Follies in Evansville.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Raymond Tatom, and a sister Cindy Cortez.

Survivors include his wife Judith (Shatto) Tatom, a brother, James Tatom, sisters, Sharon Hayes, Cathy Beard, Judy Lookebill, Melessa Lawson as well as several nieces nephews.
